Punta Gorda estado Zulia a los 10 días del mes de Octubre de 2006, Los trabajadores de la empresa Sideroca esperan que se concreten los ofrecimientos del MINTRAS para iniciar la Cogestión – Autogestión.

El martes 19 de septiembre de 2006 los Trabajadores seleccionados por el MINTRASS para reactivar el antiguo complejo siderúrgico SIDEROCA-PROACERO, se reunieron en asamblea para elegir sus voceros al Comité Contralor-Asesor, instancia que forma parte de la estructura organizativa que tendrá la nueva empresa siderúrgica y metalmecánica que cogestionarán en conjunto con el Estado venezolano.

A nivel mundial existe un debate sobre la Cogestión. La experiencia de los países europeos, no ha servido sino para que los trabajadores auto eliminen sus beneficios y conquistas. En una frase, ha servido de instrumento para que la burguesía reduzca el valor de la fuerza de trabajo bajo el pretexto de una posible quiebra de la empresa. La cogestión puede significar cosas distintas para muchas personas diferentes, pero está claro que para la clase obrera venezolana la lucha por la cogestión es una lucha por el verdadero control obrero y la dirección de los trabajadores, y la transformación socialista de la sociedad. El desarrollo de la lucha por el control obrero en Venezuela marca la intervención decisiva de la clase obrera venezolana en la revolución bolivariana.
